Parking
Please plan to walk or use a ridesharing service (Uber, Lyft, taxi, etc.) to get from your hotel to the church. There is no parking at S. Stephen’s Church, but there may be spots in the area around the church. The City of Providence rigorously enforces parking regulations. Many of the surrounding streets reserve morning hours for Brown University staff. After 1 pm standard parking rules apply; most streets have a two- or three-hour time limit. Brown University provides a public parking garage at the corner of Power and Brook Streets (about three blocks south of the church) for those desiring off-street parking. There are two city handicapped parking spots directly across from the main entrance to the church.
Meals
The following meals are included with the conference: dinner on Tuesday, lunch and dinner on Wednesday, and lunch on Thursday.
Dress Code
Dress comfortably. Some wear clericals/religious habit, some don’t. If possible, please wear clericals on Thursday morning for the group photo.
Pandemic-related issues
We will follow the safety requirements of S. Stephen’s Church and the Diocese of Rhode Island. As of 10/3/22, masks are optional, and the CDC’s community level in Providence is low/green. Please do not attend any conference events if you are sick, and please notify Fr. Everson via email if you test positive for COVID while at the conference or shortly thereafter (charleseverson@gmail.com).
